Flashback Friday: Memories from an Eldest Child

I would like to share with you a little bit about my family, before I get to my flashback. I am the oldest daughter of five children. We have three girls and two boys. Life as an oldest child has had it's share of responsibilities, challenges, and pressure. I really love being the oldest child!!

There were a lot of good things that came along with being the oldest as well. One of the best is that I was always been there.

It is not like I came into a family that already had memories and I had to find my place in it. I was the first and had the privilege to be there for everything, like the births of each one of my brothers and sisters. I do not mean I was in the room when they were born, but I remember the events surrounding almost everyone of my siblings births.

As I was thinking about this flashback I knew that this would be the perfect opportunity to share one of my favorite pictures with you!!

In this picture is my brother Kyle, my sister Vivian (in the highchair), and me (the tall one). The picture below is from one of Vivian's birthdays.

Mom had serve spaghetti and instead of eating it, she played with it. She got it all over herself and the high chair. I am so thankful that my Mom was able to capture the moment in this picture.

One of the main reason, I picked this picture is because on Monday Vivian celebrated her very first birthday as a Mommy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIVIAN!!

I just had to share a new picture of my beautiful nephew with you!!
