My Valentine's Day

I have been sick for several days. I even stayed home from work yesterday, because I have been keeping myself awake at night coughing. However, when it came to Valentine's Day, I refused to let being sick get in the way of spending some quality time with my man.

I had planned a special date night for us and I did not want to have to cancel or reschedule. Here are some pictures from our Valentine's day!

Monday night, after working out, I came home to get the house ready for our date. I brought home some chocolate for Jon and this is the date night invitation that I made for him. This was our Casablanca themed Valentine's date night!

These were our Valentine's day cards that we made for each other.

I had plans to make a steak dinner, however I have been sick for several days. So, instead we had leftover Easy Beef Enchiladas. Dinner was perfect with very little clean up required.

Jon really enjoys my enchiladas.

After dinner, I told Jon that he needed to open his chocolates!

He tried the chocolate mint one first!

Then he ate the dark chocolate one, which turned out to be his favorite!

Jon is the most amazing husband. He washed the dishes, because I was not feeling good.

Do you see why I LOVE him so much!?

We ended our night by watching Casablanca. I have never seen this movie before and thought it would be perfect for Valentine's Day.

We had such a fun evening!! I look forward to spending many more Valentine's Days with Jon. Hopefully, next year I will not be sick.
